The CRA takes the security of your personal tax and benefit information seriously. They make sure that you are the person asking to see this information by asking for the following four pieces of information, which they will compare to the information they have on file:

your social insurance number
your date of birth
the amount you reported at line 150 (Total Income) of your 2002 or 2003 income tax return
the eight-character access code from any Notice of Assessment you received after February 2002
